The wonderful thing about Reiki is that anyone can 'learn' how to do it! This makes it a very empowering and powerful healing modality. Not only does this truth offer individuals the ability to facilitate their own healing, but an opportunity to extend this empowered perspective to the world. By raising the energetic frequency of the shared experience we can, indeed, promote better health and well-being in all beings!  

The traditional Reiki training involves what are called, "attunements," of which there are 3 to possibly 4 (depending on the instructor): level I, level II, level III (Master) and the possible fourth is Teacher, if it was not included in level III. Each attunement is intended to raise the vibration of a recipient in order to align their energetic frequency with that of Reiki energy. Level I instruction is based in hands-on healing; level II is based on distance healing. What I will call level III involves fine-tuning and covers the how-to of the attunement process.
